At the Mito Building Systems Division, the entire line of production is computer controlled, from the issue of production orders to the arrangement of man-power, preparation of materials and manufacturing process itself. Hitachi’s renowned reliability, performance and riding comfort are ensured thanks to computer-aided design, integrated plate working, numerically controlled machining, and automatic painting and wiring machines, as well as strict tests. |

Found in 1972, Hitachi Elevator Engineering (S) Pte Ltd becomes a very important Sales and Service Company in South East Asia for Hitachi elevators, escalators and moving walkways. With full technology support from Hitachi Ltd, Japan, the quality of installation and maintenance is being assured to meet the satisfactory of all customers. In 1979, Singapore Jurong factory was set up and began the production of elevators. The products are not only enjoy a remarkable share in the domestic market but also export to Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Middle East, Hong Kong and China as well. |
