For the sake of design & safety standards of the lift systems over 25 years, a lot of the lift components need to be frequently checked, repaired and/or replaced that causing more and more frequent to shutdown the lift operation to do such works. Additionally, some technology-outdated lift parts, for example, motor-generator set (M-G set) are already out of normal production. In order to maintain the lift performance – reliability, safety, energy saving and riding comfort to meet with today’s traffic demand, design & safety standards, recommended modernization works shall include: traction machine, control panel, door machine, safety gear & door locks etc.
