BSBU 2016 11th Overseas Safety Meeting &10th Overseas Safety Competition

Hitachi BSBU (Building System Business Unit) 2016 11th Overseas Safety Meeting was held in Japan, Tokyo Training Centre on 28th June 2016. This meeting was for the purpose of enhancement of safety activities for the work–related accidents elimination. Seven of BSBU Overseas Companies (including Hong Kong) attended the meeting to report the safety activities and improvement in 2015 / 2016. The BSBU Global Safety Division also reported their main execution items in 2015 and plan for 2016. Training video CD was provided for education purpose to each overseas company to raise safety awareness for accident preventing.

BSBU 2016 10th Overseas Safety Competition was held in Japan, Tokyo Training Centre on 29~30th June 2016. The competition was in an aim to eliminate the work-related accident by enhancing the safety awareness. There were seven overseas teams and Mr. Lo Wai Kwok (Overhaul Section) & Mr. Law Shui Kwok (Causeway Bay Station) represented Hitachi Elevator Hong Kong to participate in the competition. The competition contents were about the knowledge on the safety related to work & management, KY Test (Hazard identification with voicing & pointing) and safety practice work for elevator (including Overhaul) & escalator. Competitions were intense and our team finally got the 1 runner up prize.
